2. How to create support information file and send it to technical support team for analysis ?
To create a Support Information File, go to Support tab in the product > Click on Support Information File
link under "SQLDBManager Plus Support" table and to create Support
Information File from Command Prompt or when SQLDBManager Plus is not
running, execute <SQLDBManager Plus
Home>\bin\createSupportFile.bat file. Once the support file is
created, the Support Information File along with time stamp will be in
<SQLDBManager Plus Home>/support directory.
If the size is less than 2MB, you can directly send the Support Information File to sqldbmanagerplus-support@manageengine.com.
If the Support Information file is above 2MB and less than 100MB, Upload it to us using the following site -
http://bonitas.zohocorp.com/upload/index.jsp?to=sqldbmanagerplus-support@manageengine.com
If the size of the file is larger than 100MB, you can use any one of the below options:
i) use the below link to upload the support information file:
https://bonitas2.zohocorp.com/?to=sqldbmanagerplus-support@manageengine.com
ii) ftp the same to our ftp site - ftp://ftp.zohocorp.com/ . Follow the below steps for using ftp :
- ftp ftp://ftp.zohocorp.com/
- give your login name as anonymous
- give the password as <your email address>
- change directory to pub <cd pub>. For convenience, create a directory in the name of your company using mkdir <company name>
- cd <company name>
- put the files here
If you are uploading the file to FTP, please writ to us at sqldbmanagerplus-support@manageengine.com with the name and details of the file once the upload is completed.
